​The Archives section chronicles my earlier stages of sculptural and two-dimensional process and theme development (1975-1990). I experimented with mixed-media layering in textile printing, off-loom and traditional sculpting, and painting. Using wax, thread, wood, plaster, tar, paint, and found objects in creating textiles, sculptures, and paintings, I layered and explored media and techniques, theme development and foundational experiences. It was in this period of experimentation that I originated and developed my commitment to abstraction-with-imagery, grounded in real experience.
