I believe that art has the power to reveal difficult information before and beyond fear. My human-sized abstract paintings on doors embody the first estimates of sea level rise on the Hayward Shoreline:

55" by the end of this century.

My response was to make art creating a resist-and-pour process to convey and make physical just how much sea level rise we could experience,

The process of pouring and protecting images of glaciers reflects the subject matter itself: inundation and protection.

Over the past 8 years, I've used this exhibit to educate others as to the possible local impacts of climate chaos. Along the way, my paintings on doors made me a Climate Activist.

May these images and my story inspire you to take climate action, before and beyond fear.  Do first one thing, then another, and then join others in building the world we dream of and hope for together.
